The district is bordered by Santa Monica on the west, Brentwood on the northwest, the unincorporated Sawtelle Veterans Administration grounds on the north, Westwood on the northeast, Rancho Park on the east and southeast, and Mar Vista on the south and southeast. Its generally accepted boundaries are the San Diego Freeway on the east, the Santa Monica Freeway on the south, the city limits of Santa Monica on the west, and Wilshire Boulevard on the north.

West Hollywood, a city of Los Angeles County, California, was incorporated on November 29, 1984. The latest residential population estimate was 34,675. The city is well-known for its nightlife, celebrity culture, and diverse atmosphere. The city has large gay, Jewish and eastern European populations. The area is informally referred to as "WeHo".

Studio City is a four-square-mile district.  It is bounded roughly by Ethel Avenue to the west, Highway 101 to the north and east, and Mulholland Drive and the Santa Monica Mountains to the south.

The Miracle Mile is an area in the Mid-Wilshire region of Los Angeles, California, consisting of a roughly one-mile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard between Fairfax and La Brea Avenues, and the surrounding neighborhoods (including Park La Brea).

Sunset Boulevard is the area's principal thoroughfare. The Hollywood Hills is a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is bound by Laurel Canyon Blvd. to the west, Vermont Ave. to the east, Mulholland Dr. (Griffith Park) to the north, and Sunset Blvd. to the south. With its sweeping views of the Los Angeles area below and its emphasis on residential privacy.

Hancock Park is a park in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, California, which is the location of the La Brea Tar Pits, the George C. Page Museum of La Brea Discoveries, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). The park does not, however, lie within the Hancock Park neighborhood which is approximately one mile to the east.

Encino (Spanish for evergreen or holm oak) is a district of the City of Los Angeles, California, United States. Specifically, it is located in the central portion of the southern San Fernando Valley. It derives its name from the Rancho Los Encinos (Ranch of the Evergreens), a parcel of land given to three Mission Indians by the Spanish government following its abandonment of the California missions in the early 1800s. Rancho Encino was established in 1845.

Culver City is a city in western Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a population of 38,816. The community is mostly surrounded by the city of Los Angeles, but also has a border with unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

Century City is a 176-acre commercial and residential district on the West Side of the City of Los Angeles. It is bounded by Westwood on the west, Rancho Park on the southwest, Cheviot Hills and Beverlywood on the southeast, and the city of Beverly Hills on the northeast. Its major thoroughfares are Santa Monica, Olympic, and Pico Boulevards (its northern boundary, central artery, and southern boundary, respectively), as well as Avenue of the Stars and Century Park East and West.

Carthay is a residential district in the Mid-City West region of Los Angeles, California.  Carthay is bordered by the Miracle Mile District on the north, Picfair Village on the south, Beverly Hills on the northwest, and the Fairfax District on the northeast. The district is roughly bounded by Wilshire Boulevard on the north, La Cienega Boulevard on the west, Pico Boulevard on the south, and Fairfax Avenue on the east. Principal thoroughfares of the district include San Vicente, Olympic, and Crescent Heights Boulevards.

Carthay comprises three neighborhoods: Carthay Circle, which lies to the north of Olympic Boulevard; South Carthay, south of Olympic and west of Crescent Heights Boulevard; and Carthay Square, south of Olympic and east of Crescent Heights.

Beverly Hills is an affluent city in the western part of Los Angeles County, California. Beverly Hills and the neighboring city of West Hollywood are together entirely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. The area's "Platinum Triangle" of wealthy neighborhoods is formed by Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Bel Air and Holmby Hills. The population was 34,980 as of the 2006 census. Beverly Hills is home to countless Hollywood celebrities, corporate executives, and numerous other wealthy individuals and families.

Beverly Hills is bordered on the north by Bel-Air and the Santa Monica Mountains, on the east by West Hollywood, the Carthay neighborhood of Los Angeles, and the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, and on the south by the Beverlywood.
